About QR Code Studio

QR Code Studio is a browser-based QR code generator built for people who need a code that looks intentional, not default — with the shapes, colors, and export options to match.

What you can generate

Ten content types are supported, each with its own form so you only fill in what's relevant:

  • URL — links to any website
  • Text — any plain text
  • Wi-Fi — network name, password, and encryption type, so a phone camera can join the network directly
  • Phone — dials a number when scanned
  • Email — recipient, subject, and body pre-filled
  • SMS — number and message pre-filled
  • Location — latitude/longitude coordinates
  • Contact — a vCard with name, phone, email, and address
  • Event — a calendar entry with date, location, and description
  • Custom — raw text or any URI scheme, encoded exactly as typed

Customization

Module shapes, and the outer and inner eye shapes, are each styled independently, in solid colors or gradients. A background can be transparent or any solid color. An optional logo — image or text — sits on a configurable plate with its own size, padding, shape, color, opacity, and border, and the QR data underneath it is automatically cleared so nothing overlaps.

Scanning reliability

Error correction adds redundancy so a code keeps scanning even if part of it is damaged, low-contrast, or covered — that's what makes a logo overlay possible in the first place. Five levels are available, from Very Low (the smallest, simplest pattern) to Extreme (the most redundant).

If an exported code doesn't scan reliably, try a higher error-correction level, a simpler module style, more contrast between the module and background colors, or a larger quiet zone.

Exporting

Codes export as PNG, JPEG, or WebP at any size up to 4000×4000px, or as scalable SVG. A "pure threshold" option removes anti-aliasing for crisp edges, and the background can be exported transparent independently of how it's previewed. PNG and SVG can also be copied straight to the clipboard.

Privacy

Every code is generated locally, in your browser. Nothing you type — URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, or anything else — is ever uploaded or stored on a server.
