A lot of "free" QR code generators don't actually encode your link, Wi-Fi password, or contact details into the code itself. Instead, they generate a dynamic QR code that points to their own short redirect link, which then forwards the scanner to your real content. That works fine — until the free trial on that redirect ends, the company shuts the service down, or they decide to paywall it. At that point, every code you've already printed, laminated, or stuck on a storefront window silently stops working.
QR Code Studio only makes static QR codes: your content is encoded directly into the black-and-white pattern, in your browser, with no redirect and no account tying it to a service that can disappear.
